I agree with Mary's statement because she is going completely against her uncle's decree, and he is not going to stop her. Antigone's sister is the opposite of her because she does not want to go against her uncle's decree. She rather just have her brother not be buried. She says that she would just tell the gods that she would bury him but her uncle would not let her.
